PRESENT PROJECT: GEODATABASE FOR ONEMAP MYANMAR PROJECT

We are creating the Geodatabase for development of Multi-user Centralized Geodatabase for Forest Department of Myanmar in collaboration with OneMap Myanmar Project funded by the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC)

We applied ArcGIS Server and PostgreSQL Server to design and implement the Geodatabase for the Forest Department of Myanmar.

IN OUR PORTFOLIO OF PROJECTS

Applied the Statistical Sampling Theory for designing the Forest Inventory to achive the results within the user acceptable statistical accuracy.

Conducted Remote sensing and GIS techniques with intensive field verification to produce the land cover, land use and forest type maps.

Hydrology scenario models were developed to assess the seasonality of water balance based on the land use or land cover changes and climate change scenarios.

We propose sustainable forest management plan to balance the timber production and ecosystem conservation using forest inventory data and by monitoring the seasonal water flow and biodiversity of the landscapes.
